Nice idea Greg, but the way I work is that I need a subject first off or some one will get my attention with a post and I create a map to suite the post in question.

Just teasing you some. Post 'em when/how you want. I just wanted them mostly in one place for quick viewing.

Ian does sterling work with his construction of maps and map graphics that a peculiar to an ongoing discussion.
The two, map and graphic, along with the discussion that surrounds it, go hand in hand. They cannot be effectively separated.

Having the maps in one place for reference is a good idea, but each map would need a brief link pointing to the thread where the attendant discussion is also found. As Chuck pointed out, the map and discussion are tied together. However, I agree having them in one place is a good idea, if there is a link that takes you to where the map and discussion both reside.

Ian you know I really appreciate your maps. There have been many times when your illustration of how the different companies would be moving or positioned have finally allowed me to understand what everyone is discussing. I am one of those people who just can not picture something in my head.

We can just put a link to the post here with a brief description of what the map entails. I know last night I was trying to recall a movement and would have appreciated a quicker way to find the map I knew existed.

I am only joking with those maps guys, but I appreciate your kind words. But I must admit though that there was a point were I had to stop because I am putting up maps all over the joint, or it seemed that way.
