I will leave this action to you, please update me. I was I the USAF, if it is off the ground and is aggressive, shoot it down! If you are hungry and it is duck, shoot it down. If it is a dove shoot it down. If it is a pheasant shoot it down. Never tried a flying fish.
Tom; is there currently any wildlife left alive on your property? sounds like you shot them all. Yan.

Yan, I have 45 acres, they wonder in from all sides. I don't eat the coyote, groundhogs, but do send them on to the great beyond from time to time. I take good care of my chickens, until they stop laying, then they make ok soup or stew. Had snake once, not bad, but not really like chicken. Like some of you civilized people feed Humming Birds(Summer) and song birds(winter). Raised Black Angus for a few years, to darn much work.
Recently bought a place on the river to fish and crab, to go along with the other place.
Regards, Tom

Well Daniel Boone Deadeyegultch I see that you are truly a Renaissance man at heart (Slim Whitman would have been proud). Sitting in your boat in a trailer on the back porch shooting at game what a life! Can I sign up for an internship? I know how to grill Dove breasts wrapped in Bacon as well as grilling venison backstap wrapped in bacon. I can substitute turkey bacon if needed but not recommended. Here we hunt deer, turkey, duck, goose, quail, dove (some folks shoot pigeons because they can not tell the difference from dove) squirrel, rabbit, moles, armadillos (some carry the leprosy bacterium) frogs, opossum, alligator, raccoon, bobcat and coyote. Snake hunting has no season or bag limits on private property. The Gulf of Mexico is a 300 mile drive we don't get much of a chance to shoot fish---flying or not---, shark, porpoise, shrimp boats, cargo ships, tankers or pirogues. Regards Dave Can we bring our guns and go snake hunting in Montana legally?

Maybe you can ask a local rancher if you could hunt whistle pigs on his land.

You hunt Frogs?
Well I suppose if you eat what you kill then who am I to judge, but I must admit that the beef you buy in supermarkets (you call them malls I think) over here is not as good as it used to be, it used to be very tasty, but now it has no flavour, and if you look at it all packaged up it is a bright red colour, it is supposed to be a deep red and that is because it has not been hung for any length of time, back in the day butchers used to hang their meat for days and even a couple of weeks in which to improve the flavour, the same could be said about pork, we don't eat pork anymore because it tastes of nothing, so we eat a lot of chicken, ham, bacon and the occasional leg of lamb.

Yan Fried frog legs, boiled crawfish, raw oysters and fried shrimp, YUM YUM. Come on over and we will go to New Orleans and we will eat Cajun and Creole food till you can't eat any more. Promise you will love it. Butchers here serve good pork chops and deep red marbled beef all perfect for grilling. I am not much for lamb but will nibble at it occasionally. We sure take pride in our food in my area and believe the rest of the states do as well. Regards Dave

I remember getting a huge bag of boiled shrimps and eating them all before the missus got home, she was not too pleased that she missed out and that I had ate the lot, she said it was really “shellfish” of me.

Still can’t believe you actually eat frogs legs, that area of the states must have been under the influence of the French, as they eat frogs legs, snails and horse meat, in fact the Frenchie’s will eat most things, but I must admit the Chinese take the biscuit for the way they eat anything with a pulse, from insects to dogs.
Going away from food for the moment, years ago I recall the missus trying to get me to go to Spain and I wouldn’t because of their love of bull fighting, to me how anyone can sit there a watch some guy in a fancy suit stick swords into a dying animal which had been tormented to the point of collapse and enjoy it is really sick, but when I saw how cheap it was for a five day break to Benidorm then I had to bit the bullet, as it was less than £90 (about $170) for the both of us to book return flights, rent an apartment for five days plus transfers from the airport, fantastic.

Ian Please don't confuse hunting with animal torture. I agree that a bull fight is a offensive and appeals to a different person than me. Legal hunting is a whole another thing. Hunting thins the herd/flock and provides food for many hunters and their family just as fishing does. Venison is better for you than cow and tastes better as well. Duck, geese and dove are all delicious and easily gained. Regards Dave

I agree Dave, although I am not into fishing and fowling or hunting I can see the benefits, but not blood sports. When I used to see these upper class twits in their red coats fox hunting it made my blood boil, thank god they banned it.
