If HR had been in Texas during the Republic Days they would have named the county Beth lives in after him. I'll let Beth fill you in HT.

Jake the peg eh!! "LOL".
From all the people who I have spoken too, the second jab has the worst side effects, quite a few have been off work for a few days after receiving vaccine #2.
I just want it over and done, as any side effects are better than dying, well that's if the blood clot story is true. The stats are, you have 1 in a 1000 of dying of covid, but 1 in twenty million of having s blood clot.
That said, many European countries have banned the Oxford vaccine, the French have stopped using our vaccine and their country is suffering because of that. President Macron should be held account for this.

Repair work starts tomorrow @ 0730! 14.9K. They remove/replace fixtures, break/repair concrete, remove/replace drywall as required. Replace the pipes. They also cover stuff in plastic and will clean up after themselves. They try to have a bathroom available the first night.
Unlike the other companies in which I remove/replace fixtures and I replace the drywall for 25K+. I have to tell you, even with just the prepwork I've done, I don't know that I could have done the remove/replace fixtures. Certainly not the drywall. I'm a tanker, not a carpenter.
We can stay in the house, but will probably spend most of the time in our recently deceased neighbors house at the kind behest of his brother. one cat being boarded and the others go next door. Don't know where we are going to sleep. Cats move today. The one goes to jail tomorrow.

Mike, I hope it is as quick and as painless as possible. It sounds like one major undertaking. How long is it supposed to take?

Start Monday, most work by Thursday. Friday is devoted to clean up by the contractor. 0730-1530 daily. Maybe a little longer. I'm really thankful I don't have to deal with fixtures and putting up drywall.

Reminds me of 1996 when the local council moved us out of our rental property for three months whilst they totally gutted our home, they put us in a modular home, which was rather like a fixed caravan.
Soon be back home Mike, you have got through Covid so this should be a piece of cake.

The worst part was finding a guy that would actually be responsive to my questions and follow up with me. The six week wait was a bother, but at least I don't live in India or someplace. 5 days and a wake up. Piece of cake.

Well, the pipe work went well and they were very efficient, most of the work was done in 3.5 days. The bad part was the shower pan was damaged so I had to replace that too, which cost more, which caused me to have to remodel the bathroom, which cost more. I demoed much of the bathroom myself, but even so, the total cost went from 14,9000 to about 25,500. The good news was that is still less than cost for just the basic job for the next lower companies, which as I have sniveled about before, had me removing bathroom fixtures, reinstalling them, doing my own dry wall, etc. Still about a week before the bathroom if finished, but our other one is perfectly usable. The end is in sight.

Well Mike, if you have any money left, you just have to throw a party.
