2019 will have the LBHMA, Friends of the Little Bighorn, and LBHA all fairly close together. The Friends will be at the battlefield, the LBHMA in Hardin, and LBHMA in Sheridan WY. Seems like a great time to be there.

It will certainly be that for sure. We should sponsor a reenactment between the 3 groups, see who wins. Do you know the average age of the three groups?

I will post them when I get them but Tom's right. The Friends is during the days immediately before the 25 and include the 25. I think LBHMA is just prior and LBHA just after the 25th. We had a great time in Gettysburg this year.
Regards
Steve

Right now it is flooding in Montana. The ice is catching on the bridge near Old Elks and closing I -90. Our friend Pilu Pretty On Top has her property flooding and rising close to here home. Chip Watts is in Welton AZ enjoying the warm weather. Sandra Connor is handing in there on Reno Creek.
So my trip this year includes Casper WY, Kaycee WY (home of Chris LeDoux), Buffalo WY, Sheridan WY, a night in Cody WY staying at Buffalo Bills Irma Hotel, and then on to Hardin. At Hardin I will get the groceries for staying at the 7th Ranch for 2 weeks.
The CBHMA symposium is on the 21st, Real Bird Pageant and Cavalry Camp, Friends Field Field trip still TBA, meeting with friends and general look around, the 27th begins the Little Big Horn Meeting in Sheridan. I leave for home July 1.
This is the year of the trifecta for all three groups are close to the battlefield and within one week of each other in time. Should be real green this year with all the precipitation.
It would be a great time to be there. If interested and need help on where to stay or just general information you can call me at 923-606-2538.
Tom will be there and I am sure some alcohol is involved.
Regards
Steve

Steve should I bring a Spencer, Henry, Springfield, and a single action. I will be there from the 16th or 17th leaving the 30th. I am sure we will meet with some Cheyenne, and garner some learnings from a different perspective. I hope we can conjure Chuck to Sheridan, at least, Colt you would be a good get as well. Dave you don't have to ride a horse! Beth tell me what airport and time we will be there, better yet get a daughter to drive you and pick up Chuck. Obviously I would love to meet all board members. Yes this includes Crowsnest, Ian, Mac, Rebcav(if he can dry off), et el.

Thanks Tom, I am a huge Beatle fan and if I was the guitarists in that band in the link, I would be smiling like a fat kid in a sweet shop. I learnt ever song by the Beatles during the 1970s and even now I still have to show people how to play Norwegian Wood.
Willie Nelson was a favorite of my late Brother, I remember when he was ill and suffered with Agoraphobia, amongst others things, a friend of mine went to see Willie in Liverpool and when he met him at the stage door my friend phoned my brother up and said ‘hey Tony, I have someone here who wants to talk to you and Willie Nelson had a good conversation with him’.
I had to job of picking three tunes for Tony’s funeral and the first was a Beatles song called ‘In My Life’ the second was ‘stairway to heaven by led zep’ and the last was a live version of Willie Nelsons ‘on the road again’ which all the people in the crematorium clapped along to.
Bitter sweet stuff, but thanks and I hope you and Steve have a great trip.

Well, I know you all want to hear about the battlefield, but I am not there yet and wont be there until Sunday or Monday. I have not forgotten your map Chuck, when I get it I will call you for an address, I only got 3 hrs. sleep and spent 2 weeks in Indianapolis rush hour this morning to include a two tractor trailer pile up. Illinois gas prices are outrageous. Then I chose a bad rout due to GPG snafu. But, Beth I got a good passing view of Marshalltown. Since I saw Marshalltown, I need you Beth to www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwZNL7QVJjESince the long day I had I feel www.youtube.com/watch?v=dt_8aDOJvtMI am going out and not have www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbskoBOHyc8 Chuck may remember Regards, Tom
