Montana Native Americans in the Library of Congress, National Archives & Records Administration, and Smithsonian Institution compiled by at the University of Montana through the Natives of Montana Archival Project (NOMAP).
is a link for sources on Montana Indians. It looks like it has been around since 2010, so everyone but me has probably already seen it.

Fair play to them Tom.
I am not a hater of everything Irish, just the IRA and Ricardo Flynnio, I don’t really hate him its just that he is a trouble maker and a liar. Ireland has good points and bad points just like any other country, you can find a genuine person there who would go out of their way to help you just like you can in any other place in the world. But I must add that they have got to sort out their sectarian issues, as you can’t have people having walls built between their housing estates just to stop them from killing each other because one is catholic and the other protestant, hell it is 2020 not 1520. The IRA are just a gang of bastards who blow up kids and anyone else because they can. One day I would really like to see Ireland united as it should have been all along and we can wash our hands of the place.
Back to Mr Flynn, I hold him totally responsible for the break up of the black board, his lies caused the bad feeling between him and one of our colleagues which caused a domino effect with side fighting between our resident officers, who uptill then were the best of friends. Other valid members of the black board then started leaving because of the fall out. It was also badly handled by Merkle who only got involved when it got too late.

Other than the fact that Mr F. fornicates with swine, denies that the Iron Duke was Irish because he was rich, insists that the Australian Light Horse made a dismounted attack at Beersheba, despite photographic evidence to the contrary, and has the intellect of a wet turd, what could you possibly have against him Ian?

Battle brewing between SD Souix reservations and SD Gov. The Sioux have placed roadblocks to limit Covid19 carriers to the Rez. The Gov. has threatened to go to court to have these roadblocks removed from state highways. I think the Sioux get a win here after 149 years.

A real can of worms. I don't know the status of the highway. Is it state built? Is it funded with state and federal funds. We had the same issue here and the ruling was state officers have jurisdiction on the highway including the right of way. I can see a better case for blocking and controlling exits. That is what is going on in New Mexico but for the opposite reasons. They are blocking exits into Gallop. We are now experiencing more Navajos coming into Flagstaff.

I know that I am on the outside looking in but, I don’t agree with any group of citizens who claim to have the power to restrict other from entering a public place, I know that there is a virus knocking around but it should be down to the law to place these restrictions, not a bunch of residents. Now I know that the American Indian has had a hard time of it in the past, but they along with everybody else are US Citizens and not above the law. Look at the big cities in Britain, many have areas which the majority of citizens are either Asia, Black or Chinese, so imagine is these people decided to keep anyone from outside that area from entering? They would be a riot as this would be seen as a racists act.
The Indians in the US have saw how racism has affected their lives, but sometimes they do things that are racists, didn’t they react sternly to white people being on reservation land? Which is in my eyes a racist act and if they got turned away from the local town, they would immediately throw in the racist card.
Everyone should be treated equally and then we have a level playing field for all not just one set of Americans.

If I could give you ten likes for your post instead of only one, I would.
NO ONE ABOVE THE LAW, what a noble concept. NO ONE ABOVE THE LAW, the basis of a free society. NO ONE ABOVE THE LAW, the very concept that makes all men equal.
A nation, whose citizens do not recognize the supremacy of the rule of law, ends up being a nation of savages, ruled over by brigands. Such a nation cannot be free.

The reservations, under treaty, have limited nation status. This has nothing to do with race. They are not stopping entrance, only controlling it. If I must have a passport or updated shots to enter a nation, so be it. Hell, I have to show my ID to enter a military base. The Sioux attorneys cleared this with BIA. As I understand it the state does not maintain reservation roads. You can enter the Cheyenne River Reservation just off I-90 in SD, and exit on the Standing Reservation in ND.
Can you say concessions?

So if it is a Sioux road on Sioux nation land, what is the problem? Remember it is highly likely I need education here .
