I will be leaving VA on 6/13, picking up a friend, and leaving MD for the Bismarck, ND LBHA Conference. I will meet up with Steve there, We will leave after the conference for Miles City, MT, after there maybe to whack a few Prairie Dogs for a day, and then on to the Battlefield area. Sorry the founders and members of this Board can't join us.

Yeah I would love to be there for a week, seeing America from ground level instead of aeroplanes and cities. Don't know about killing the wildlife though.
Booked for Fuerteventura for February 2022, six of going for seven days, cant wait. Our glorious leader Boris will anounce soon if we can get away this year, Portugal is open for British visitors, but they are thinking of charging you £60 each for covid tests before you fly, which is pretty steep as I can walk down our road and get one done for free. We really enjoyed Portugal, great food, great beer and loveley people, I used to order hot chicken piri piri and a cold bottle of super bock beer in the evening, watching the sun go down, ah, well I can dream can't I!

We are hoping to go to Iowa next month. Steven's dad has sold the family homestead to one of Steve's cousin's son. The farm has been in the family for over 120 years so it is nice to see it continue. The cousin plans to totally remodel the house pretty much down to the studs and has asked FIL Jack to remove everything by July 1. Hopefully Steven will go up to give him a hand and I will be going along as well. Hopefully we will be able to arrange to see Sam and Gwen as well but that too is up in the air. I don't know if we will have time to see my brothers, sister and other family. It seems for as small as the state is, family is spread one corner to another and we will only have a week.

The mind can still will you to get moving. So make a plan now to be there next year. You will have a good time and you will have something to look forward to. Regards Steve

I maybe caught up on board reading, so time for a rather hollow report on battlefield activities. The conference in Bismarck was enjoyable, the trip to Ft.Lincoln, interesting (best parts the Custer House, barracks, and the catered lunch). Also visited the infantry fort located above FAL, Chuck would have enjoyed The downside of the Bismarck portion of the was the Custerophiles.
Then spent the better part of two of two days chasing family stories at Standing Rock and the Cheyenne Reservation. Also put in phone time connected with the same chase, Steve did better in the Spring.
Lastly was the trip to the Buffalo Bill Museum, in Cody,WY. Did not spend enough time there, will dedicate two days next time.
Regards, Tom

Steve is the picture dude. I did not mention that at least one of us probably partook of more than our share of liquid refreshment on auction night in Bismarck.

I was completely unaware that there was anything such as too much Lemonade. I will watch myself closely in the future, as I have absolutely no desire to die of Lemonliver. Thank you for the health warning, and I am happy to see that you were not infected, or have succumbed to Custerfileitis. I would rather have Gonorrhea.

Regards, Tom Tom I have replaced my support the blue wristband and I blame Eleanor Roosevelt for her Marine observations. “The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!” Regards Steve
