Booked my space at the 7th Ranch. My camp trailer will be in the same place Cabin #4 was located.

I bet it is cool to just travel to the battlesite as easy as you do, it is like me traveling to Culloden, Nasby or Edgehill, but the difference is 'why would you want to come over here to see those sites, I on the other hand, am working on a way to get over there this year, but it is not as easy as it seems, mainly with work. I have another six years before I retire so if I am well enough, I will have plenty of time then.

I hope that you will be able to make it over here some day. I personally believe seeing the battlefield is important to understanding the battle. (But that may be said about any battle I guess.)

My venture to Montana is still on as of today, I plan to arrive on or about 6/16. First for HR I will not be doing any sweat lodges this year. Second, I will not be staying in any hotels on this trip. I will be cooking a lot more, as restaurants may be a no go, and rightly so. Issues that may impact this trip. Will National Parks be open, will others even venture to the annual goings on. I guess we will see. Steve and I have much planned. There are damn sure a lot of "what ifs." Logistically we will be fine.

So much for jousting on the back side of board, the last post I read was a fair summation.
The Custer Battlefield N.P. closed yesterday, I hope all of the National Parks have. So much for any trip this Summer, unless things change drastically, I have known this was coming since prior to my last post. I would be as inconsiderate as the spring breakers to cross country for purely a selfish want to do, certainly not a need to do. While social distancing can easily be done in many of these vast areas, putting the workers and vendors at risk is unconscionable. Leave the highways for the truckers and others with that need to do, for the greater good.

Spring breakers! I know that the young sometimes think that they are invincible but there comes a point that they are just being selfish. It was in the local news yesterday that 70 spring breakers from UT went to Cabo--28 came home with Covid. Can you imagine how many people they exposed?
