Why oh why are history books such and expensive hobby passion.
Does anyone know of any new books that will be hitting the market for the holidays that are of particular interest?

Beth, I always chose Amazon for my first port of call for any books, especially old publications. I don't mind buying second hand books as long as they are in good condition. The last two I bought were a quite cheap, they had to be because when I open my wallet and pull out a note, her majesty shields here eyes from the daylight] and of course in good nick. They were both suggested by Chuck, the first was "Company Commander" and the second is "Armor Attacks".
I read Company Commander straight away, I always like reading that book in the autumn of winter, probably because it is set during the Ardennes. Armor Attacks is yet to be read, I need to be in the mood for those types of books, but the time will come.
I like the search engine on Amazon too, just type in a topic or an author and it finds you a whole bunch of suggestions.

I too do most of my buying from Amazon though I have picked up one or two from Upton. My problem is that I read mostly on Kindle because I can increase or decrease the size of the font depending on how my eyes are feeling.
