Virginia was probably the biggest nest of rebels short of Massachusetts. Everyone knows of Jefferson, Washington, Maddison, Henry, and Lee. Few know about many of the lesser players such as Daniel Morgan and William Woodford.
Many know about the siege at Yorktown, far less know about the battles Great Bridge, Gwynn's Island, and Petersburg.
Then there is old Gov. Dunmore, who might be worth minor investigation.
Someone mentioned the American Revolution thought I would toss some Crumbs.
Regards, Tom
