I have to admit that crossing the ocean on dirigible looks like such a leisurely way to travel-if you have good weather. I'm not sure I would like the one napkin for the trip, but I don't think they would serve my dining out arch nemesis, spaghetti.
Steve's uncles saw the Graf Zeppelin when it made it's world tour in 1929. The Kansas to Chicago leg took it practically right over 'the family farm". I guess it was quite a sight, enough that everyone stopped what they were doing to watch.

Ok, here is a link describing the zeppelin raid and a photo showing bomb damage, the stone post was hit and is now an attraction in Victoria park in Widnes, although many of the kids or even adults know why it is there. Bold is a parish located on the out skirts of Widnes. link
