I received my copy of this wonderful book the other day and I have have looked through all the pictures and descriptions and now will read the text. My first impression is this is as good and perhaps better than Mr. Hutchison's Crimean Memories: Artefacts of the Crimean War. I realized I had not posted my review of Crimean Memories till today so I posted my review for it today.
The photos are gorgeous and well presented with descriptions of each item presented. I was particularly impressed with the Native American artifacts which I have seen very few. The Indian craftsman skillfully made these items by hand and were very creative in using available materials as needed. Very little was wasted of the animals harvested and ingeniously used.
Mr. Hutchison has certainly provided a worth addition to the works that cover the Battle of the Little Big Horn and its participants with his latest book. He is to be congratulated and praised. Regards Dave
PS Steve he sure would make a great addition to this board if he were so inclined.

Yes he would make a good addition to the platoon, along with Donahue, Fred and even Custer Apollo!
