I noticed we do not have a forum for the Korean War but I found an interesting web site that deals with B 29 bombers and other stories about Korea and some WW II topics. I wanted to share this web site with others who might have an interest as well. Dave

Sometimes links are funny when it's white like the first one, it's most likely not going to 'click through' to the page you want--however if you copy and paste it into your address bar, you will end up on the correct page. I suspect the problem was that it was missing the www. at the start.
Computers can be very persnickety at times.

Yan I first read and understood about the Marines and Chosin Reservoir in Burke Davis's book Marine! which was about Chesty Puller and dealt with the Marines and the Chinese. It is a good read and very informative about the Marine Corps legend.
Incredible conditions, incredible men on both sides and an amazing story of what terrible conditions men can stand and fight in as well. Regards Dave

Regards Dave I found myself in Saluda Va., June 26th of last year. Took my mom to General Puller's Grave to wish him a Happy Birthday. Motivating as all Get Out. Respectfully Submitted, Duane.

Nice link Mac, as I didn't know that any A7s actually survived the war. I will do a stats page on this vehicle and post it up later.
I was really annoyed at not checking the internet for military museums in Rome as there are some fine ones in the city center. One of the best ones, which contains WW2 tanks, was on one of the main metro links and very easy to get to. We had 24 hour metro passes and could have easily visited this museum, but having said that Sue had her Smart Phone stolen on a metro train by a group of pick pockets, who were all teenage girls, the metro train was packed solid and these little swines were really good at their job, they crowded around both of us, but my stuff was zipped up inside my coat. Sue had her stuff in her hand bag which was closed, but they managed to open it and lift the phone.
