I hope you remember me at least since I have been gone for awhile. I am afraid that this hasn't been the best year, health wise which means I have been absent for months.
Can you guys update me on how things are going both on the board and in personal life?
Beth

Gosh I am sorry to hear about your health problems Beth. I hope you are on the mend, and the coming year will see much improvement. I knew not seeing you here was not good, and expected that it meant more in the way of health problems, but not seeing you also meant not being able to keep in touch.
My wife and best friend Joan passed away on 27 December after two years of health issues, and the last two months we were together were very bad. Her passing was a blessing for her as she would not have wanted to live under those severe conditions. It was peaceful and that's about all you can ask I suppose.
The new Colorado Centre administration building (sort of like our community town hall) is being named in Joan's honor. She gave everything she had and more to our community and county over the last 20 years, and we are so honored as a family to know that her efforts were so appreciated. The building is due to be dedicated in December.
Other than that, I am presented with new and different challenges daily, but I figure them out somehow. I usually ask her what to do and she tells me, so all is well.

Good to see you active again, hope you are doing better health-wise.
Still trying to figure out exactly what the heck Custer was up to. I do find the conversations, dialogue quite interesting.

About the only way you're going to find out Mister E. is to ask him in the hereafter, if the no good son of a bitch is in your neighborhood in the hereafter, which I very much doubt, because I speculate he will inhabit one of the cheep seats in the bleachers. God has a way of getting you either now or in the hereafter if you are so criminally stupid as to get 210 people killed because of hubris. Saint Pete takes no prisoners either.

Congrats Ian. I can't believe you have four grandkids! I have heard that granddaughters can wrap their grandpa's around their tiny little fingers.

Yes I can see that happening in the future, but now she is always asleep or feeding, not even openend her eyes properly yet. Got to get them all together soon, Sue is 66 in three weeks, maybe get them all round, other than that it will be Christmas. The problem is that they all live out of town, they are 25 miles away, which is quite a drive there and back.

Welcome again. Hoping for some more of your pragmatic insights.
I'm visiting my Mum turning 100 today, the 608th anniversary of Agincourt. Sat now in The Crown, Northolt, famous in un-noted historical ways. The grave is just opposite at St. Mary's.
I am contemplating a steak lunch followed by liquid slaughter 😜
Hang tough!

Good on her HR, has she got her birthday card off the king? I personally would have gone for the mixed grill with a large glass of red
