Looks like VP is in the middle of an armed insurgency. Oh, do..... please, please do, train and arm hundreds of thousands of guys who hate your guts. It's absolutely brilliant. Set Russia free...... He's a genius, is Mr. Vlad. You can't dream it up. Join my army and fight or I'll lock you up or shoot you! Hmmm......... choices......... Vot should we do? Pass the vodka....................... We must set Russia free. Remember Lenin! Belgorod shooting: Gunmen wipe out platoon of Russian trainee soldiers. link Meanwhile, a number of large explosions are expected shortly at Kharasavey as the Arctic continues its meltdown. What, a revolution? In Russia...........

This is going to go well - link Russia digging in for 'heaviest of battles' in Kherson. Meanwhile - link When Russian troops fled the Ukrainian town of Balakliia last month, they left behind thousands of documents that detail the inner workings of the Russian war machine. You move the population out of a population center and turn it into a fortress......................... genius. link Unrelated - I just bumped into an M1A2 JAG image...... cool..............

Take this to the bank HR and deposit it in your account. A tank without a turret is like a bird without wings. It can't fly, and won't survive long

HR: If I am not mistaken you asked about the 705th Tank Destroyer Battalion several weeks ago. If I am correct you will find an extensive combat narrative of the battalion while attached to the 101st Airborne Division during the Ardennes Campaign in a book called "No Silent Night" by Leo Barron and Don Cygan. Really good book old friend, right up your ally.
The 705th is perpetuated today by the 75th Cavalry Regiment, and active component of the 101st ABD at Fort Campbell, KY

Crimean campaign 1941 1941 - 2021 One can argue that the Crimean Campaign of 1941, brought about the later defeat Nazi German forces invading Russia. It was an immense mistake tying up offensive forces which would have been better employed to the north. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but the Crimea was irrelevant to Hitler, as it now is to Putin. Trying to sustain the Crimea guts Russia. It is a huge petard to be strangled whilst it is figured out how to blow up the Kerch bridge properly. The best method is probably airborn assault - it's hardly a bridge too far. More one too long. Put a company either end and the Russian's will blow it up trying to take it back. Go Ukraine!

The original Kerch railway bridge was destroyed in February 1945 by drift ice from the Sea of Azov which fatally damage the structe with only five protective starkwaters ready by that time. On 18–19 February 1945, ice destroyed 24 pillars and 26 spans (of 110) fell into the strait. By 20 February 1945, 42 pillars and 48 spans were destroyed. By March 1945, 46 pillars and 53 spans were destroyed, and 1016 pillars out of 2357 were severely damaged. Attempts to weaken the ice by artillery and ground-based ice blasting were ineffective, and aerial bombing of ice was impossible due to very bad weather. Icebreakers were also unable to reach the bridge.

Crimea is symbolic to Russia. Other than that it is completely irrelevant militarily. It is also symbolic to Ukraine, in that it is theirs. Something like winning our revolution and leaving Boston occuped by British forces. The damned baked beans will give you gas and internal disorder anyway. Why keep it?

😊 That's funny. Unless you're serious. Some X factor www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/abramsx-next-generation-main-battle-tank-breaks-cover I"m sitting wondering if we get to wake up in the morning. Scary but Russia and madmen just go hand in hand for a thousand years. I figured out that covering the Ukraine- Russia border with four unit batteries of NASAMS 3 would take about $2.5bn. That being with Amraam ranged to 50 miles. 24 rounds to shoot could though be swamped and the radars themselves become a magnet for grief. Regards. If you don't hear from me then we nuked the Russian nutjob. Ttfn.
