An idle few minutes following random URL's brought me to Zero and Hedge items related to Chinese ambitions, which are what they are. The World can be understood as a many tentacled octopus which had emerged from the seas. This is stuff for the Gods and those actively doing their work but it helps to know what the World is up to for informed discussion over Saturday morning breakfast. Those articles skimmed and surmised.......... then, I bumped 'Direct Confrontation - Portland, Oregon' which is where Ducks come from. The video is a running mob street fight of some size, through city streets. There is quite a bit going on and an impressively disciplined Police oversight. I noticed something. Black Fred Perry t-shirts with yellow trim. Too many to be coincidence! So, Check it outYou have a sophisticated infiltration, in Portland. Maybe.

Jesus HR, you married a Celt! you are in for some hard times my friend, I hope you have protection for your nether regions.
Don't let ask you if you ever had ambitions to be a farmer, otherwise she will kick you in the nuts and say ''there are a couple of acres to start with''
I think if you live in England, then you are perfectly right to fly the red cross of England, she can though fly that blue thing they use over the border and she will not be held to account as we are English and fair in our ways, but if you live north of the border and you wanted to fly your flag along side hers, would that be accepted by the local jocks?

Tom, everything is wrote in that post, I did so tongue in cheek. HR knows the crack and will get it. The jocks the macs and the Taff's along with the English all share the banter but I don't thing shows well in a written post on a US Web site.
Another example was in France last week when we where in a bar in St mere eglise and this French guy said are you English and I said yes, he then laughed and said we all have our problems, but because he said it to my face and I could see he was joking I laughed too, he then shook my hand and that is how you should have taken my post to HR.
A hater? That is a strong word as I have never really hated anyone in my life.

Ian, you could see my face. And, I would say many from the British Isles have wee bit of the Celt in them or put in them.
Regards, Tom

HR
I read the Chinese spy story, Chinese spies being close to my heart.
Forgetting the headline (good grief!) The story seems to be that a Chinese guy who was a driver for a politician met a guy while on holiday in China and was befriended by him. Turns out this second guy works for the Chinese government.
I am worried out my Scottish taxi driver now Ian.
Cheers all!

No drama mac, on BBC radio two they have a Scottish radio presenter who does the morning show, now his show is broadcast from London and when England was doing well in the world cup he band all talk of it from his show as it annoyed him so much.
But you take all that stuff with a pinch of salt.

Never forget that pinch of salt. I must say that I set out in life to achieve very little and have been spectacularly successful. The abiding lesson which my time upon this amazing lump in orbit around an immense furnace is that love is really little more than hate gone wrong. I am at the moment recovering from the 5th level of 'Tree Hugging', after falling 16 feet in ecstasy and letting go!
Do you have to be a Brave, to be Free?
