Thanks Steve, I will run a few examples by you when my internet connection behaves as I am on the missus tablet and I find it very limiting.

E and F move to form rear guard on cemetery; I think E&F operate on CR and were not on BRE. Following Colt's bugle call a retreat would take them back toward LSH from BRE and CR.

That's interesting Steve and this our first conflicting theory, as I think that Chuck has all five on bre after the pull back from ford d, that is why I made that map in such a way. This is a good thing as it shows how different we all view this portion of the field, so let us use it to our advantage and see which works the best.

I think they were close together at LSH. E&F going the general direction of the current admin site and C,I,L going down BRE. The current Indian monument is the pathway to BRE.
I know there is a difference because I don't rule out that there was a split at MTC. I am pretty much on Donahue's page for the movement and posted that map elsewhere.

Yes I have added that map to my files Steve. I have said before that a portion of the main column may have positioned themselves between the column and the river, because a village this size will always pose a threat and will be fully alert by this point.
Another reason was that they sought a few crossing points before the opted for ford d, and Gibbons ford could have checked out too, which would not take them that much out of the picture as it is near cemetery ridge.
